DESCRIPTION:

The MIRI ® Time-Lapse family`s multiroom IVF incubators is a high-tech multiroom dry incubator featuring an integrated optical system (camera and microscope) for continuous, real-time embryo monitoring. Designed and manufactured in the EU, the MIRI® TL provides high-quality images without the need to remove cells from the safety of the incubation chamber for manual microscopy. Continuous Time-Lapse embryo monitoring delivers detailed morphokinetic data during every stage of development that are not available with standard discrete evaluation. This allows embryologists to observe all critical cleavage behaviors, helping to precisely identify the healthiest embryos with the highest probability of implantation to achieve higher pregnancy rates.

The Efficiency of Time-Lapse Technology in Modern Embryology

Time-lapse technology represents an advanced approach in clinical embryology for the in vitro culture and continuous imaging of embryos. One of the main challenges in modern reproductive medicine remains mitigating the risks associated with multiple pregnancies. While shifting to single embryo transfer significantly reduces these risks, standard morphological assessment alone is often insufficient for routine single selection.

Utilizing a time-lapse incubator enables continuous monitoring of embryo development without disrupting optimal culture conditions. This non-invasive method provides embryologists with critical insights into cleavage patterns, developmental dynamics, and subtle morphological deviations. Continuous kinetic evaluation ensures an unbiased and data-driven selection of the embryo with the highest implantation potential, making this technology a major advancement in optimizing IVF success rates.

FEATURES:

Fully independent chambers
  • Available in 6 (TL6) or 12 (TL12) completely isolated chambers with precise temperature and gas control. Opening any chamber does not disrupt the microenvironmental stability in the other compartments.
Continuous Time-Lapse observation
  • Image-based time-lapse video allows for an objective and reliable evaluation of embryos to better predict their future developmental and implantation potential.
Heated lids
  • Heating elements in the upper lids operate synchronously with the bottom heating. This prevents condensation, optimizes temperature regulation, and ensures a completely uniform thermal field between the top and bottom of the chamber.
Fast parameter recovery
  • Temperature recovery takes < 1 min, and gas concentration recovery takes < 3 min after chamber opening.
Advanced gas system
  • An integrated gas mixer ensures precise gas regulation and continuous recirculation through a HEPA-VOC filter, significantly reducing gas consumption. Integrated UV sterilization of the recirculated gas guarantees maximum biological safety for the embryos.
Simple external verification
  • Dedicated gas sampling ports for each section and independent sensors allow for easy external validation of gas levels and temperature.
User-friendly interface
  • A touchscreen control panel with an intuitive menu allows for smooth configuration and management of the device settings.
Specialized CultureCoin® dishes
  • Exclusively designed culture dishes allow each chamber to safely cultivate 14 embryos. This provides a total incubator capacity of 84 embryos for the TL6 model and 168 embryos for the TL12 model.
MIRI® TL Data Recorder (Data logger)
  • Continuously monitors and documents temperature, pressure, gas flow rate, and gas concentration. Audible alarms trigger if parameters go out of range.
Continuous pH monitoring
  • Allows for the optional integration of an external pH meter (SAFE Sens system) for safe online monitoring without opening the chamber lid.

The medical device is fully certified and approved for use in Ukraine.
